Description
Step up your full-size 1911 with traditional Double Diamond checkered rosewood, the same panel pattern Colt has used on factory wood grips for over a century, finished here with a blue-enamel Colt logo medallion inlaid into each side. Built for shooters who want their pistol to wear classic 1911 aesthetics: refined, recognizable, and timeless.
The wood is laminated rosewood — denser and more dimensionally stable than solid stock, so the panels hold tolerances across temperature swings, range humidity, and long-term storage. Each pair is CNC-machined to Colt 1911 frame specs with an ambi safety cut, which means drop-in install: no fitting, no relief work, no gunsmith.
The Double Diamond checkering features two smooth diamond-shaped panels (one centered on each grip screw) flanked by aggressive cross-hatch checkering, the configuration that defined 1911 grip design from the start. It’s the classic look that pairs equally well with a blued Series 70 Government, a stainless Kimber Custom II, or a polished Wilson Combat 1911. The blue Colt medallion is inlaid flush from behind, with raised silver lettering on a deep enamel face, same construction as the factory medallions you’ll find on Colt’s own production grips.
Fitment: standard full-size 1911 frame with 3-1/16″ screw spacing and ambi safety cut. Drop-in for Colt Government, Colt Commander, Kimber, Springfield Armory, Ruger SR1911, Remington R1, S&W SW1911, Sig 1911, Rock Island, Taurus 1911, and GSG 1911 Government-model clones. Tactical-grade and weatherproof. Does not fit double-stack 2011 frames or compact/Officer 1911s.
Ships in a display gift box with installation screws. Backed by a 30-day fit guarantee from a shop with 50,000+ pistol grips sold to American shooters. Browse the full 1911 full-size grips collection for more rosewood, medallion, and material options.

Every grip listing in our shop specifies the exact brand, frame, and model it fits. Browse by manufacturer to find grips made specifically for your firearm.
Which gun grip material should I choose for my shooting style?
Rosewood and walnut work best for collectors. G10 is ideal for competitive shooters. Rubber suits high-recoil and rapid-fire use.
Can I return my gun grips if they don't fit or I'm not satisfied?
Yes. We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. If your grips don’t fit, arrive damaged, or aren’t what you expected, return them in original packaging for a replacement or full refund.
Can gun shops buy grips wholesale or in bulk?
Yes. We offer wholesale pricing for retailers and distributors with no large minimum order required.
How long does shipping take on gun grips?
Orders are processed within 1–2 business days. Most customers across the US receive their order within 4–5 business days.

Slim wood or ABS grip panels work best for concealed carry. They keep your profile low, prevent printing, and won’t snag on clothing during your draw.
