What's in Our P238 Lineup?
Right now we carry three types of P238 grips: acrylic pearl, mother of pearl with UV/HD full-color printing, and custom UV-printed wood grain finishes. The mother of pearl Peacock is the one people ask about most, full color, striking, and nothing like what’s on any other P238 at your range.
The Leopard Limited Edition is exactly that, limited. The Amboyna Burl UV print gives you a wood-grain look without actual wood. Every set includes mounting screws. If you want to go further, we carry P238/P938 replacement screws in stainless, black-plated, and gold-plated, sold separately.

What grips fit the Sig Sauer P238?
Only grips built specifically for the P238 frame. The P238 runs a compact frame with its own screw hole spacing, it’s not a standard 1911 compact, and it’s not the same as the P938. If a product page doesn’t say P238, don’t assume it fits. Every grip in our P238 category is cut to P238 dimensions only. No adapting, no shimming, no hoping it’ll line up.
Do P238 grips come with hardware?
Most of set in this category ships with the mounting screws included. If you want to upgrade beyond the included hardware, say, stainless steel, black-plated, or gold-plated finish screws, we sell those separately. They’re listed as P238/P938 compatible, so they work on both models.
What styles does Premium Grips carry for the P238?
We carry acrylic pearl, mother of pearl, and UV/HD full-color printed grips for the P238. The UV-printed line includes Peacock mother of pearl, Amboyna Burl wood grain, Armageddon Skulls, and the Leopard Limited Edition. We don’t carry rubber or G10 P238 grips, if that’s what you need, we’re not the right fit for this model.
Can I use P938 grips on a P238?
No. The frames are different. P938 grip panels won’t sit right on a P238, the dimensions are off. Our replacement screws are the one exception: they’re listed as compatible with both the P238 and P938, so those work either way. But grip panels are model-specific. Don’t mix them.
Are these P238 grips good for everyday carry?
The acrylic pearl and UV-printed panels sit flush to the frame and don’t add bulk, so printing isn’t an issue. These grips are built for people who want a P238 that looks as good as it shoots. If you carry daily and need something purely tactical with aggressive texture, our current P238 range isn’t designed for that. It’s built for EDC shooters who care what their pistol looks like, and collectors who want something worth showing.
How do I install grips on a Sig P238?
Take out the two factory grip screws, flathead or hex depending on what SIG shipped with yours. Pull the factory panels off. Set ours against the frame, line up the holes, and run the included screws back in. Don’t overtighten. That’s it. The whole thing takes about three minutes. Nothing gets modified, nothing gets filed, the frame stays exactly as SIG made it.
