Description
These Colt Python wood grips are made for the 2020+ Python and the current-production Anaconda, Kodiak, and Grizzly that share the same I-frame. They give Python owners the factory-presentation look, checkered rosewood, silver Colt letters, classic medallion, without the premium-brand price tag of Altamont or Eagle Grips. A strong choice for owners who want factory aesthetics at a fair price.
The panels are cut from black rosewood Dymondwood-style laminate, a stabilized birch hardwood infused with phenolic resin under heat and pressure. It’s denser than standard rosewood and won’t swell, split, or fade from cleaning solvents. The face is hand-checkered for traction, and the centerpiece is a pearl acrylic inlay framed by a black medallion with silver “COLT” lettering, closer to the look of a vintage Python target grip than a generic aftermarket panel.
Fitment is drop-in for the post-2020 Python frame. These Colt Python grips will not fit pre-2005 Pythons without filing. Installation uses the existing single grip screw (included) and takes about five minutes with a standard flathead, no gunsmith needed.
Who these are for: Python owners who carry the gun for show, range days with mid-pressure .357 Magnum or .38 Special, or display.
Who should skip these: If you regularly shoot full-house .357 Magnum (50+ rounds per session), go with Hogue Monogrips or Pachmayr Presentation grips, wood looks better, rubber absorbs recoil better.
Made by Premium Grips, with 50,000+ pistol grip sets sold on Amazon serving Colt, 1911, Sig Sauer, and Smith & Wesson owners. Backed by a 30-day fit guarantee, if your Python frame doesn’t match, return for a full refund.

How long does shipping take on gun grips?
Orders are processed within 1–2 business days. Most customers across the US receive their order within 4–5 business days.
