Description

These 1911 American flag grips put the flag where it belongs, worked into the grip of a pistol that’s carried, not displayed. Carved rosewood body, acrylic ivory accent strip inlaid through the middle, and an American flag medallion seated flush at the top of each panel. Three materials. One panel. Built for veterans, active military, law enforcement, and daily-carry gun owners who want an American identity on their sidearm done in real wood rather than printed polymer.

The rosewood is carved, not laser-etched, not CNC-routed through composite, not surface-printed to simulate depth. Cuts go into solid wood and hold there because rosewood’s grain density resists the micro-compression that rounds off decorative work on lower-density materials over years of handling.

The acrylic ivory accent is solid material cut to the exact thickness of the channel routed into the rosewood. Color runs uniform through the full material depth, warm cream against the rosewood’s deep brown. Edge wear at the ivory strip won’t expose a different substrate underneath. The American flag medallion is metal, inlaid below the panel surface, not surface-bonded, not adhesive-mounted. It survives bore solvent, cleaning oil, and holster contact without lifting at the edges or staining the rosewood around it.

Fitment: Full-size single-stack 1911 family: Colt Government, Colt Commander, Kimber, Springfield Armory, Ruger SR1911, Smith & Wesson SW1911, Remington R1, Sig 1911, Rock Island, GSG, and Taurus 1911. Standard 3-1/16″ screw spacing. Ambi safety cut included. Officer frames, compact 1911s, 2011 double-stacks, and magwell-cut competition pistols use different geometry, panels ordered for the wrong frame won’t seat and cannot be modified to fit.

Four grip screws out with a hex driver. Old panels off. Carved rosewood panels on. Screws back in. Five minutes. No fitting, no gunsmith.

If you want the same carved rosewood ivory-accent build with a gold U.S. medallion, Texas Star, or Punisher skull instead of the American flag, those run as separate listings. 30-day returns if panels don’t seat flush on your pistol.
