Description
Heritage Rough Rider wood grips in checkered rosewood with an inlaid bronze bear medallion set into the upper portion of each panel. Built for Heritage Arms .22 LR and .22 Magnum owners who want classic Western styling with a hunter or outdoorsman touch, the bear motif suits Rough Riders running as woods plinkers, trail guns, or display pieces in a hunting cabin.
Cut from laminated rosewood and CNC-shaped to the standard square-butt Heritage Rough Rider frame. The checkered pattern is machined into the wood face, not laser-etched, not surface-stamped, so the texture stays sharp and the index-points hold up under repeated handling. Checkering adds positive grip security beyond what a smooth or polished panel can deliver, important on a recoil-light .22 single-action that’s often shot one-handed.
The bronze bear medallion is inlaid flush into the panel face, not surface-bonded, it won’t catch cleaning patches, loosen under holster wear, or pop loose with temperature shifts. Rosewood laminate stays dimensionally stable across humidity and temperature changes, which matters for a revolver that sees outdoor range or field use.
Fitment: standard square-butt Heritage Rough Rider frame only. Works on 6-shot and 9-shot configurations in both .22 LR and .22 Magnum. Does not fit Bird’s Head frames or the Heritage Barkeep, those use different geometry and require dedicated panels.
Ships with installation screw in a display gift box. Backed by a 30-day fit guarantee from a shop with 50,000+ pistol grips sold to American gun owners. For frame-fit guidance, see our Rough Rider upgrade guide.

What gun grips fit my pistol or revolver model?
Every grip listing in our shop specifies the exact brand, frame, and model it fits. Browse by manufacturer to find grips made specifically for your firearm.
Which gun grip material should I choose for my shooting style?
Rosewood and walnut work best for collectors. G10 is ideal for competitive shooters. Rubber suits high-recoil and rapid-fire use.
Can I return my gun grips if they don't fit or I'm not satisfied?
Yes. We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. If your grips don’t fit, arrive damaged, or aren’t what you expected, return them in original packaging for a replacement or full refund.
Can gun shops buy grips wholesale or in bulk?
Yes. We offer wholesale pricing for retailers and distributors with no large minimum order required.
How long does shipping take on gun grips?
Orders are processed within 1–2 business days. Most customers across the US receive their order within 4–5 business days.
Are gun grips easy to install at home?
Yes. Most sets ship with mounting hardware included. No gunsmith needed most installations that take under 10 minutes with a basic screwdriver.
What are the best gun grips for concealed carry?
Slim wood or ABS grip panels work best for concealed carry. They keep your profile low, prevent printing, and won’t snag on clothing during your draw.
