Description
Black rosewood panels for the Colt Python, pearl acrylic accent strip inlaid through the middle, screaming eagle medallion seated flush at the top of each side. Three materials on one panel, each verifiable before you order: the wood is black rosewood, the accent is solid acrylic pearl, and the medallion is metal with the eagle image in relief on the face.
The screaming eagle medallion is inlaid below the panel surface, not bonded to the wood face. That distinction matters for a working revolver. Surface-bonded medallions catch cleaning patches, admit moisture at the edges, and work loose over time under normal holster use. An inlaid medallion sits protected by the wood around it and survives the same cleaning solvents, oils, and contact the panel itself does.
The pearl accent strip is solid acrylic pearl, cut to the exact thickness of the channel routed into the rosewood, it won’t shift, compress, or separate from the wood over time. The color goes through the full material thickness, so edge wear won’t expose a different-colored substrate underneath.
Fitment is specific: These panels fit the Colt Python 2020 across all available barrel lengths and the Colt Anaconda 2021, which shares the Python’s grip frame geometry. They do not fit the original Python manufactured before 2005, the King Cobra, the Trooper, or any other Colt double-action revolver. Frame geometry on those models is different. Panels ordered for the wrong frame won’t seat correctly and can’t be modified to fit.
Installation requires one screw and a hex driver. The factory side-plate screw backs out. The old panels lift free. The new panels seat against the frame. The screw returns through the panel. Confirm your Python or Anaconda model before ordering, the install is irreversible once the original factory panels are discarded.
30-day returns on panels that don’t seat flush on a confirmed compatible frame. Buy these colt python eagle grips now.
