Description
A three-material replacement panel set for the Colt Python: black rosewood for the body, a strip of black pearl acrylic running through the middle, and a matte Punisher skull medallion inlaid at the top of each panel. Three distinct materials, each doing its own job: wood for the contour and feel, pearl for visual contrast, metal for the centerpiece.
Black rosewood is one of the densest woods used in revolver grip panels. It holds the contour of the Colt Pythons grips frame without softening at the edges, takes a deep polish that lasts through years of handling, and stays stable across the temperature ranges a working revolver actually sees. The pearl accent is solid black pearl acrylic, cut to thickness and inlaid into the wood, not a painted strip or surface overlay. The Punisher medallion is matte-finished metal, set flush below the panel surface so cleaning patches and solvents pass over it without lifting the edge.
These fit the new-generation Colt revolvers, Python 2020 across all barrel lengths, and Anaconda 2021, which shares the Python’s grip frame. They do not fit the original-production Python (pre-2005), the King Cobra, the Trooper, or other older Colt double-action revolvers. Frame geometry is different and the panels won’t seat correctly.
