The original Betsy Ross American flag, 13 stars in a circle, printed on the underside of crystal-clear acrylic. These clear acrylic 1911 grips use the transparent panel as a magnifying lens for the printed flag image, creating depth that opaque grips can’t match.
What clear acrylic does that black don’t?
Standard opaque grips display artwork at the surface. Clear acrylic puts the print underneath the panel, viewed through the polished acrylic itself. The result is layered visual depth, the flag appears to sit inside the grip rather than on top of it. Lighting changes the way the image reads, with bright sun bringing out the colors and overhead light creating subtle shadow detail.
The print is UV-cured for fade resistance, protected by the acrylic above it from any handling wear.
