Description
The new-generation Colt Python ships with serviceable rubber panels that hide everything good about the revolver. These Colt Python grips replace them, black rosewood, hand-shaped to the Python’s contour, finished with a polished gold medallion that carries raised “U.S.” lettering rather than a flat stamp. The raised detail catches light differently than printed or etched medallions; it reads as metalwork, not decoration.
Installation takes one screw and about three minutes. The factory side-plate screw comes out, your old panel lifts off, the new panel seats against the frame, and the screw goes back in. Nothing else needs to be touched.
Fitment is exact, not approximate. Confirmed for the Colt Python 2020 across all available barrel lengths, and for the Colt Anaconda 2021 (which shares the Python’s grip frame). These will not fit the original-production Python made before 2005, the King Cobra, the Trooper, or any of the older Colt double-action revolvers, those use a different grip geometry and you’ll get a gap or an overlap.
Black rosewood is the right wood for a Python. It’s dense enough that the contour holds its line for years instead of softening at the edges, dark enough that the gold medallion has real contrast, and stable across the temperature swings a carry revolver actually sees. The medallion seats below the surface plane of the wood, not on top of it, so cleaning rags and solvents pass over without snagging or lifting it free.
Shaped and finished in North Carolina. 30-day fit guarantee, if the panels don’t sit flush on your Python or Anaconda, send them back for a refund or a replacement.

Which gun grip material should I choose for my shooting style?
Rosewood and walnut work best for collectors. G10 is ideal for competitive shooters. Rubber suits high-recoil and rapid-fire use.
Can I return my gun grips if they don't fit or I'm not satisfied?

How long does shipping take on gun grips?
Orders are processed within 1–2 business days. Most customers across the US receive their order within 4–5 business days.

Slim wood or ABS grip panels work best for concealed carry. They keep your profile low, prevent printing, and won’t snag on clothing during your draw.
