Rosewood 1911 grips in an Outback checkered pattern with black-enamel Ruger medallions inlaid into each panel. Built for full-size 1911 owners who want premium hardwood underfoot, and specifically suited to Ruger SR1911 shooters who want a brand-matched grip without paying for OEM accessories. The medallion ties the build together visually; the universal 1911 fitment means it isn’t limited to one platform.
Cut from laminated rosewood and CNC-shaped to standard full-size 1911 frame dimensions. The Outback checkered pattern is machined into the wood face, sharper detail and longer-wearing positive index than rolled or printed checkering, which flattens out under repeated handling. Rosewood laminate is more dimensionally stable than solid wood across temperature and humidity shifts, so the panels stay true through outdoor range use and seasonal storage.
The Ruger medallions are inlaid flush, black enamel with the silver Ruger emblem set into the panel face, not surface-bonded. They won’t catch cleaning patches, peel from holster contact, or loosen over time. Panels are impact-resistant and feature an ambi safety cut, so they work with both standard and ambidextrous safety setups.
