Description
No carving. No medallion. No pearl accent or ivory strip. Just black-stained walnut, cut to Government spec, polished smooth across the face. These dark walnut 1911 grips are for the shooter who wants the gun to look serious without looking busy.
Black staining drives color deep into the walnut grain rather than sitting on the surface as paint or lacquer. The grain pattern stays visible under the stain — the dark tone unifies it without erasing the wood’s natural character. A stained panel handled daily develops a subtle sheen at the contact points where the hand meets the wood consistently. That’s the material doing what wood does.
Smooth panels carry better than checkered ones. No texture catches on a cover garment. No pattern abrades the inside of a holster over years of draw cycles. The grip pressure of the hand against the panel is enough retention for a carry pistol — the walnut grain handles the rest.
Fits full-size single-stack 1911s: Colt Government, Colt Commander, Kimber, Springfield Armory, Ruger SR1911, Smith & Wesson SW1911, Remington R1, Sig 1911, Rock Island, GSG, and Taurus 1911. Standard 3-1/16″ screw spacing. Ambi safety cut standard. Won’t seat on Officer frames, compact 1911s, 2011 double-stacks, or magwell-cut builds.
Loosen four grip screws with a hex driver. Old panels off. New panels on. Screws back in. Five minutes.
30-day returns if they don’t seat flush on your pistol.

Every grip listing in our shop specifies the exact brand, frame, and model it fits. Browse by manufacturer to find grips made specifically for your firearm.
Which gun grip material should I choose for my shooting style?
Rosewood and walnut work best for collectors. G10 is ideal for competitive shooters. Rubber suits high-recoil and rapid-fire use.
Can I return my gun grips if they don't fit or I'm not satisfied?
Yes. We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. If your grips don’t fit, arrive damaged, or aren’t what you expected, return them in original packaging for a replacement or full refund.
Can gun shops buy grips wholesale or in bulk?
Yes. We offer wholesale pricing for retailers and distributors with no large minimum order required.
How long does shipping take on gun grips?
Orders are processed within 1–2 business days. Most customers across the US receive their order within 4–5 business days.
Are gun grips easy to install at home?
Yes. Most sets ship with mounting hardware included. No gunsmith needed most installations that take under 10 minutes with a basic screwdriver.
What are the best gun grips for concealed carry?
Slim wood or ABS grip panels work best for concealed carry. They keep your profile low, prevent printing, and won’t snag on clothing during your draw.
