Description
These checkered 1911 grips bring sharp diamond checkering cut deep into black rosewood, broken up with an inlaid acrylic pearl accent strip, and topped with a gold eagle medallion. The checkering is what makes them work as a shooting grip, it bites under recoil, doesn’t slip when your hands are wet, and gives you the same retention pattern that’s been on serious 1911 builds since the Government model was first issued. The pearl strip and gold eagle take them from “duty grip” to something worth showing off.
Engineered as a true bolt-on upgrade. Pull your factory panels, set these in place, and tighten your existing grip screws. No sanding, no shimming, no gunsmith.
Sized for full-size single-stack 1911s with the standard 3-1/16″ screw spacing, Colt Government, Colt Commander, and Government-spec clones from Kimber, Springfield, Ruger SR1911, S&W SW1911, Remington R1, Sig 1911, Rock Island, GSG, and Taurus. Cut for ambidextrous safeties. Will not seat on Officer/compact frames, 2011 double-stacks, or magwell-cut competition builds.
Black rosewood holds checkering better than softer woods, the points stay sharp through years of carry and cleaning, where walnut tends to round off and lose its bite. The pearl accent is solid acrylic, not a thin overlay, so it won’t chip free of the wood. The gold eagle medallion is inlaid flush into the panel, not surface-mounted, so it stays seated through solvents and oils.
Cut, checkered, and finished in North Carolina. Over 50,000 1911 grips shipped to American shooters. 30-day returns if the fit isn’t right or panels arrive damaged.

Every grip listing in our shop specifies the exact brand, frame, and model it fits. Browse by manufacturer to find grips made specifically for your firearm.
Which gun grip material should I choose for my shooting style?
Rosewood and walnut work best for collectors. G10 is ideal for competitive shooters. Rubber suits high-recoil and rapid-fire use.
Can I return my gun grips if they don't fit or I'm not satisfied?
Yes. We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. If your grips don’t fit, arrive damaged, or aren’t what you expected, return them in original packaging for a replacement or full refund.
Can gun shops buy grips wholesale or in bulk?
Yes. We offer wholesale pricing for retailers and distributors with no large minimum order required.
How long does shipping take on gun grips?
Orders are processed within 1–2 business days. Most customers across the US receive their order within 4–5 business days.
Are gun grips easy to install at home?
Yes. Most sets ship with mounting hardware included. No gunsmith needed most installations that take under 10 minutes with a basic screwdriver.
What are the best gun grips for concealed carry?
Slim wood or ABS grip panels work best for concealed carry. They keep your profile low, prevent printing, and won’t snag on clothing during your draw.
