Description
These 1911 Punisher grips are built wood-first. Carved rosewood body, acrylic ivory accent strip inlaid through the middle, silver Punisher skull medallion seated flush at the top of each panel. Three materials working together, the rosewood gives the panel its weight and grain character, the ivory strip pulls a warm contrast against the dark wood, and the silver skull sits above both as the focal point without overwhelming either material beneath it.
Most 1911 Punisher skull grips on the market run the skull on polymer or synthetic panels. This build puts it on carved solid rosewood, a material that ages with the pistol, darkens with handling oils over time, and holds the carving detail sharp because the grain density resists the micro-compression that softens decorative cuts on lower-quality materials.
The silver Punisher medallion is metal, inlaid below the panel surface, not surface-bonded, not adhesive-mounted. Silver finish reads bright against the warm rosewood-and-ivory face, more visible at distance than a matte black medallion on dark wood. It survives bore solvent, cleaning oil, and holster contact without lifting at the edges or staining the wood around it.
Fitment: Full-size single-stack 1911 family: Colt Government, Colt Commander, Kimber, Springfield Armory, Ruger SR1911, Smith & Wesson SW1911, Remington R1, Sig 1911, Rock Island, GSG, and Taurus 1911. Standard 3-1/16″ screw spacing. Ambi safety cut included. Officer frames, compact 1911s, 2011 double-stacks, and magwell-cut competition pistols use different geometry, panels ordered for the wrong frame won’t seat and cannot be modified to fit.
Four grip screws out with a hex driver. Old panels off. Carved rosewood panels on. Screws back in. Five minutes. No fitting, no gunsmith.
If you want these same 1911 Punisher grips on a dragon scale panel instead of carved rosewood, or on a fish scale panel, those run as separate listings. 30-day returns if panels don’t seat flush on your pistol.
